The Society for Neuroscience Grants Victor Wong with the Trainee Professional Development Award

Congratulations to Dr. Victor Wong! He received the Trainee Professional Development Award (TPDA) from the Society for Neuroscience (SfN). This award aims to promote the advancement of career training, and to increase gender equality and diversity in all forms throughout its programs. He will advocate for the deaf/hard-of-hearing in STEM research. He will be presenting his work twice at the SfN 2019 conference on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30-8:30 pm during the Trainee Professional Development Award Poster Session and on Monday, October 21 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Poster 302.16.
