Abstract

Dr. Nizan Friedman is co-founder and president of Flint Rehab—a company focused around developing and productizing devices for individuals with neurological disorders. He has served as the Principal Investigator on several SBIR awards from the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Education. Dr. Friedman has extensive experience developing wearable sensor and human monitoring technology at the University of California, Irvine. He is proficient in embedded systems development, printed circuit board hardware development and microcontroller firmware development and has extensive knowledge in creating human interface devices. He has founded several companies and has successfully commercialized several products. He has experience working with manufacturers both in the U.S. and eastern Asia to create consumer-level products that have been sold and distributed through both fulfillment centers and large online retailers.
