Drs. Moreno-López and Vivinetto Win Travel Grants to Attend ISNR 2020
Dr. Yunuen Moreno-López and Dr. Ana Vivinetto, postdoctoral fellows at Burke Neurological Institute, have won travel grants to present posters at the 18th International Symposium on Neural Regeneration in Asilomar, California, held on January 26 to 30, 2020.
Sponsored and hosted by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, the symposium offers presentation, insights and discussion centered on advancing the understanding of injury responses and potential therapeutics targeting both peripheral nerve and central nervous system injuries. The five-day symposium attracts researchers from across the nation and grants 20 travel awards to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and clinical residents in training.
On the third day of the symposium, January 28, Dr. Edmund Hollis will be the chair introductions and session overview of the New Investigator Session. Researchers from Cave Lab, Hollis Lab and Sahni Lab will be presenting posters on the second day and fourth day of the symposium.
