Biography
My research interest is to understand the cross-section of healthcare and robotics. As an undergraduate in Cornell University, I was a research assistant in the Organic Robotics Laboratory working on a soft prosthetic hand robot. I graduated from Cornell University’s Engineering College in 2017 with an independent degree in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering and bring my understanding of mechanics and biotechnology to the Human Spinal Cord Injury Repair Laboratory at Burke Medical Research Institute.
As a member of the Human Spinal Cord Injury Repair Laboratory, I hope to deepen my understanding of human motor function recovery using robotic devices. My research explores the mechanisms of neuroplasticity to gain clinical benefits for patients affected by neurological disorders.
My ultimate career goal is to develop a novel robotic intervention that restores human motor function.
