Biography

I have looked extensively at the use of invasive Intraspinal Microstimulation for recovery of motor function following Spinal Cord Injury. Following this, I began to evaluate the other ailments of Spinal Cord Injury, such as Chronic Neuropathic Pain. My main interest now is studying and evaluating the effectiveness of non-invasive neuromodulation as well as virtual reality immersion in the treatment of Chronic Neuropathic Pain following Spinal Cord Injury. I will conduct research under the guidance of Dr. Mar Cortes.
