Molecular Strategies for Segmentally Targeted Corticospinal Circuit Repair After Spinal Cord Injury

The overall goal of the project is to test the hypothesis that there are multiple, developmentally critical genes that regulate CSN axon targeting to thoraco-lumbar spinal segments, and that overexpression of these genes in combination can promote segmentally-specific, long-distance CST regeneration after thoracic spinal cord injury.
