Jack “Spero” Zacharias

Jack “Spero” Zacharias is a business and technology leader in the property, casualty, health, life, and accident insurance industries with more than 30 years of experience in delivering innovative solutions at premier organizations. Currently the head of agency distribution at Chubb’s International Accident and Health unit, Spero is also a former Board Chairman at ACORD, the insurance industry’s preeminent technology and operations association. Spero has also served in leadership positions on Insurtech boards and industry start-ups. 

Spero has an MBA in Finance and Management from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University and serves with Mario Gabelli, Gerry Byrne, Brendan Ryan and other Finance and Media industry leaders on the School’s Advisory Board. He is a distinguished alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has recently joined the Burke Neurological Institute’s Advancement Council. 

Spero is an accomplished public speaker on insurance and technology innovations and a forever hopeful New York sports fan.
