Kathleen Friel is Associate Professor of Neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medicine and the Burke Neurological Institute in White Plains, NY, USA. She earned her PhD in neurophysiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center (Kansas City, KS, USA). Diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a young child, she currently runs a research laboratory to develop more effective interventions for people with cerebral palsy.
