Rebecca Taylor Awarded a Diversity Supplement from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the NIH

Rebecca Taylor, a student trainee in the Hollis lab and rising sophomore at Georgetown University, has been awarded a diversity supplement from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the NIH. The two years of funding will support her research into the effects of axon regeneration on the restoration of forelimb function after spinal cord injury. Ms. Taylor is working towards her goal of becoming a medical doctor who will bridge health disparities in underrepresented communities through research and service.
