Burke Neurological Institute's Office of Postdoctoral Advancement will be hosting Ali (Fenstermaker) Crawford, Ph.D., as part of our Postdoctoral Career Advancement Series Seminar. Dr. Crawford is a Senior Director of Scientific Research at Illumina.
After completing her PhD studies with Yimin Zou, PhD, at the University of California, San Diego, she performed her postdoctoral training with Joseph Gleeson, MD, also at UCSD. Following her training, she joined Illumina where she advanced from Scientist I through Senior Director of Scientific Research. She has led teams on high accuracy human leukocyte antigen sequencing, non-invasive liquid biopsy, and clinical whole genome sequencing.
She will be speaking virtually from 12:30-1:30pm.
All BNI and Weill Cornell Medicine postdocs are welcome to attend this seminar.
Following the seminar, postdocs are welcome to join in a group discussion with Dr. Crawford to ask specific questions and solicit career advice.
