Advantages

This vibratome is good for cutting agarose-embedded tissue slices from ~50 μm to ~400 μm thickness. Fixed and living tissue can be cut in the designated chambers. The vibratome uses disposable razor blades.

After an individual training session, researchers are given access to the instrument. Assistance with tissue preparation, agarose embedding, and cutting is available during normal business hours.
